Donor Eggs

donor eggs

Egg donation is the process by which a woman, typically between the ages of 18 and 30, has her eggs retrieved for another person. The eggs are then fertilized, cultured, and 1-2 embryos are transferred into the uterus of the intended parent or surrogate.
Deciding to move forward with an egg donor cycle can be emotionally and financially taxing as the total cost can range from $15,000 to upwards of $40,000. Some factors that can affect cost include choosing between fresh and frozen eggs, electing to do a shared/split oocyte donor (OD) cycle, and adding preimplantation genetic testing (PGT) to your IVF cycle.
